If you have been following the headlines since 2024, you would have noticed that the news in 2025 is completely different from what made it to the headlines in 2024.
Last year was filled with rapid changes in our ecosystem, driven largely by global warming, but 2025, on the other hand, is filled with shifts occurring in the global order. Many say that the Third World War is waiting at the doorstep.
Wondering who is causing these shifts? It’s none other than Donald Trump.
Making America Threat Again!
Donald Trump is one of the most controversial figures in modern history. Some call him bold and revolutionary, whereas others call him outspoken and a hasty decision-maker. Since he was appointed the President of the United States, major changes have taken place in the global order. The USA, which was once the “Voice of the West” and the nation that saved Europe from Russia’s actions, has now revealed its true colours to the world. Donald Trump’s America has started to oppress smaller European nations. Whether by pressuring Denmark to sell Greenland , reneging on its support for Ukraine by refusing further aid , or coercing Ukraine to end the war.
Moreover, we cannot ignore the fact that the USA has withdrawn from the WHO and the UNHRC.
After World War II, the USA pitched the idea of an organisation dedicated to world peace, global cooperation, and the welfare of mankind. Now, however, it has crossed all limits of hypocrisy by deciding to withdraw from its own initiative.
Trump Vs Hitler
I would like to compare Donald Trump’s USA to Hitler’s Imperial Germany.
You would be amazed to know that both have many similarities. Hitler’s main electoral propaganda was that Jews were the cause of all of Germany’s problems. Similarly, Donald Trump did the same in the recent U.S. presidential polls, blaming immigrants for the rise in crime in the USA .
Once elected to power, Hitler sought to expand the empire and unite all German-speaking territories. Likewise, since taking office, Donald Trump has attempted to acquire Greenland; both leaders failed in their respective efforts.
The League of Nations, often called the predecessor of the United Nations, was formed after World War I to prevent future global conflicts. However, as history tells us, another world war did occur, marking the failure of this organization. Adolf Hitler is often blamed for its initial weakening and eventual collapse.
Many historians argue that when Hitler and his allies withdrew from the League of Nations, it was a clear warning sign, one that made many believe World War II was inevitable. Now, we see the USA withdrawing from multiple UN organizations, and the U.S. cabinet member and multi-millionaire Elon Musk has even suggested that Trump should leave NATO without a second thought. But we never know what Trump is planning next.

Remember, my friend, “History repeats itself.” The reason we are taught history in schools is so that we can learn from the mistakes of our ancestors and avoid repeating them. The world must react now to the USA’s hypocrisy and selfishness, or it will be too late, and a Third World War will become our inevitable fate.
